John Cook & Sons is a family run business, with over 25 years experience in the production of quality bespoke handmade furniture, joinery and carpentry, of the highest quality for both interiors and exteriors.

We are a small operation although our reputation for both quality and scale would defy this.

We specialise in bespoke joinery and have considerable experience both in small and large projects. We are able to design bespoke pieces or follow your brief to create unique designs.

Our specialist joinery encompasses all areas of woodworking and joinery. From doors, door and window frames to staircases, to unique furniture pieces.

Whilst we create contemporary as well as classic designs according to your desires, we practice traditional joinery techniques to ensure the best possible quality build and timeless look.

Using our bespoke joinery experience we are able to both design and create purpose made items to blend in with your living space.

Do you want Bi Fold Doors for your home? Well here at John Cook & Sons, we manufacture timber bi-fold sliding doors in our own workshops to the very highest of standards.

Each set is individually customised using your own choice of timber, ironmongery and finish. A Bi Fold Door should not only be practical, but also stand the test of time.

For perfectly fitted mouldings to match both new and aged existing profiles.

We use the latest shape cutters for the highest accuracy when it comes to producing fitted mouldings and trims.

We are certified users of accoya. Accoya is durable, stable, low maintenance and sustainably sourced.

We are able to knowledgeably advise which wood / material, is suitable for each project; using both hardwoods, and softwoods.
